Having trained with world renowned Podiatric and Orthopedic surgeons, she can offer some of the most advanced treatments for Bunions, Hammertoes, Hallux Limitus, Plantar Fasciitis and Flat Foot surgery. She is avidly involved in her residency program where she often lectures to medical staff including other specialty physicians, residents, and orthopedic surgeons on various foot and ankle diseases and surgical techniques.

Dr. Alina Kogan was raised in Staten Island, NY where she attended the William E. Macaulay Honors College at the College of Staten Island. She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Throughout college, she was involved in a number of scientific research projects including Fragile X, and genomic research involving GPCR and Neuroligin1. She then received her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she acquired an extensive grasp in all aspects of the foot and ankle. While undergoing her residency at the prestigious NYU Langone Health Centers, she became chief resident and was involved in a variety of foot and ankle research projects with an emphasis on hallux limitus. She is also the editor of the King’s Division of the NYSPMA section of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
